Eric Henry, Partner
Eric Henry is a general corporate lawyer focusing on the representation of emerging growth companies. Eric has a general corporate practice with broad-based experience in mergers and acquisitions and other transactional matters, private equity, securities, and other contractual and commercial matters.
Eric has represented startup and development-stage companies, as well as established businesses. He also has experience in the structuring, formation and representation of venture capital and other private equity funds.
Eric counsels clients on the full range of their activities, including formation and fund-raising, corporate governance, transactions, securities and other commercial matters. Having worked as an in-house lawyer, Eric also has operational experience advising on matters such as client contracts, IP portfolio management, licensing, employee-related matters, commercial disputes, and other matters.
Prior to founding Buhler Duggal & Henry LLP, Eric was in-house legal counsel for Sapient Corporation, and previously was a corporate associate in the Boston offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP.
Eric is actively involved in various community organizations, including the New York City Bar Association. His interests include cycling, gardening, cooking and motorcycles. He is fluent in Spanish.
Eric received a B.A. in History from Bowdoin College, cum laude. He earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
Eric is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
